I have had the filter for about 3-4 weeks now. I ordered this filter to control the chlorine output in my shower. Seems like it's working so far, I definitely feel my skin is not as dry after showers. My hair too. It was easy to install, although I tightened it a little further so the filter was on the bottom side so it would be lower. Works well with my $6 shower head from Wmart.
