I am using Celestron LCD Digital Microscope #44340.I need to see lactobacillus acidophilus in yogurt, but I can't find it. What are the characteristics of lactobacillus acidophilus? What stains are needed?Is it possible to see lactobacillus acidophilus in yogurt with this microscope?

First you will need to follow some standard laboratory processes.
Get some nutrient agar and Petri dishes and start some cultures.
Transfer some of the culture on a microscope slide.
Use the microscope to differentiate the two cultures.
You will either have to ask your instructor for some sample specimens to compare what you have with the control sample.
