how important is it to work certain parts certain days when working out?
i work out every other day.i perform full body workouts.i train for strength &/or size.
does it matter if i do fullbody workouts instead of certain parts in a day? and could u give a brief explanation of why this is? thanks in advance
Hello.
If you're a beginner, than working the whole body using just a few different exercises is very beneficial.
After you've been training for about a year or longer, it's good to fully isolate individual muscles by working just a couple muscle groups in each workout.
Working the whole body is usually suggesting that you're limiting how many exercises you're doing per body part, which is beneficial for a beginner, because it helps build the muscle foundation.
As you become more experienced, it becomes more beneficial to focus more of your attention on just a few muscle groups at a time, because an advanced body will require more isolation, and more attention.
