I saw the Vugo when it first came out and over a year ago wiith a asking price of $125.99 and though it was a complete ripoff even before the bad reviews. I ended buying a juicebox and a videonow instead and the kids are happy with both. I paid $13 for the juicebox and the most I've paid for clips was $4.99 have about 16. The VideoNow sucked for a will because we could find and new dics. The VuGo by Hasbro and been rebranded.
Ok for an adult to use as a PVP it sucks bollacks, but for the average child under the age of about 10 it okay. It keep the occupied and they don't mind the poor video playback quality. It's slick design to look kind of like a psp and the vevamped TVNow selling at Walmart for 25 dollars and I was able to get it to read a 4gb SD card, 2gb more then the specs for almost 16 hours of video at the max setting according to the unit. The TVNow records with a line-in connection the same port records video and music the comes with the box. The SD Card is currently holding three full lenght movies (FFVII:Advent Children, Disney's The Wild and Bratz Babiez along with two tv shows with commerials since you can't edit the recording along with the two disc soundtrack of Rent and B-Day.
